Felix G. Poggemann:

Felix G. Poggemann received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago in 1996. He then graduated from the University of Denver, College of Law, with a concentration in trial advocacy in 1999. He was admitted to the Colorado State Bar, and immediately began working as an associate attorney at the law firm of Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine in the Denver area where he practiced in the fields of commercial litigation, mass tort, and employment law.

In 2000, Felix returned with his family to his home state of California. He was admitted to the California Bar that same year, and worked as an associate attorney with Fleer Daugherty & Raub, a medical and psychological malpractice and employment law defense firm in Walnut Creek, California. He then moved to the Sacramento area, where he was employed at Goyette & Associates, practicing employment and labor law.

Felix left Goyette & Associates and opened his office in downtown Sacramento in 2003. Over time his practice focused on two major practice areas: family law and elder abuse litigation. Mr. Poggemann also devotes a portion of his practice to disciplinary defense in the public labor sector.

Over the course of his career, Felix has been the lead trial attorney in dozens of cases before juries, judges, arbitrators, and government agencies. He believes in his clients. If an advantageous settlement is impossible, Felix is always willing to take a case to trial to protect his clients’ rights and interests.

Felix spends his personal time with his family. Together they enjoy sailing, waterskiing, swimming, cycling, and volunteering in their church and community.
